Brewhaus Dog Bones
Lisa Graham dreamt up the idea for Brewhaus about 2 years ago when she saw dog bones that were made from spent grain from beer being sold at a brewery in California. With a daughter on the disability spectrum, she has seen the need for programs teaching young adults with disabilities to help increase their employability. At Brewhaus, young adults with disabilities are hired to make, package, and sell dog bones made with the recycled spent grain. With partnerships with schools across the city, and breweries like Rhinegeist and Listerman, Brewhaus is expanding rapidly and changing the lives of kids, adults, and dogs alike.
