Roasting is one of the most fundamental cooking techniques. In this class, you'll learn the secrets of using dry-heat to roast meat, vegetables, and fruit. By the end of class, you'll feel confident following any recipe and also using the technique on your own.
We'll discuss the tools you need, how to choose ingredients, and the principles of good roasting.
- Whole Roasted Chicken
- Roasted Veggies -- learn the basic recipe that can be applied to almost any vegetable
- Crispy Roasted Potatoes
- Slow Roasted Pineapple
The atmosphere will be fun and convivial and we’ll have beer and wine. This makes for a great date night, night out with friends or evening with your parents/adult children!
