Meat and Knives: Basics of Butchering

This class is through our partnership with UC's Communiversity. Led by The Jaded Fork

Chef Lindsey of The Jaded Fork will provide an introduction to the basics of hands on butchering techniques. Chicken fabrication, fish cleaning and meat carving will be practiced. You will get to cook several dishes utilizing a variety of fabricated meat cuts. A discussion on the uses of meat bones will provide insight into stock and broth making. Chef Lindsey will showcase a variety of knives, their purposes as well as some basic knife sharpening techniques.

You will be provided a special bone broth making kit to take home!
