Jezebel Blanc 2017- Pinot Gris, Gewurtztraminer, Riesling, Melon

Willamette Valley, OR

Willful- determined, pertinacious, unruly, wild As a single mother of two, Pam Walden lives by the mantra: “where there’s a will, there’s a way.” Her intention has always been to live life to the fullest, with a strong work ethic and independent spirit that embraces the unknown. Starting as a partnership with then-husband, Aron, Pam took over the entirety of winemaking and created Willful Wines in 2009 after their separation. In 2013, Aron tragically passed, and Pam sold her 17-acre vineyard site in Dundee to focus on her children. Forming longstanding and cooperative partnerships with SE Wine Collective, Eugene Wine Cellars and sustainable growers in both Southern Oregon and the Willamette Valley, she continues a small production of both Willful and Jezebel “naked fermentation” wines while also homeschooling her two sons. Under her second label, Jezebel, Pam produces fruit driven, approachable, everyday drinking wines from Willamette and Southern Oregon. A refreshing and aromatic blend of Alsatian white varietals, the Jezebel Blanc is the perfect porch or picnic wine. Highly aromatic, it’s bursting with flowers, tropical fruits and peaches finishing with just a hint of sweetness and racing acidity.
