Kelly Shaw

Associate Director, Findlay Kitchen

Kelly Shaw is the Associate Director of Findlay Kitchen. She has 15 years of hospitality experience in various roles ranging from line cook to kitchen manager and most everything in between. Kelly also has extensive customer service and administrative management experience, allowing her to support Findlay Kitchen members and lead the incubator kitchen into its next phase of growth.

Scott Edsall

Findlay Kitchen Incubator Manager

Scott Edsall has been with the Corporation for Findlay Market for three years, most recently as the Findlay Market Incubator Manager. During his tenure he has worked on the buildout of the Findlay Launch storefronts and incubated multiple businesses out of the Findlay Kitchen, most notably Soul Secrets and The Empanada’s Box. Scott also led the restoration of a 1970s deck oven, allowing new bakeries to start in the Kitchen. Scott has over 20 years of experience starting and operating food services in Cincinnati, Nashville and Illinois, with a focus on efficient operations for food businesses

“Within one-on-one business mentoring, our goal is to lower the barrier of entry for businesses to start and thrive. We are trying to figure out programs, manuals–anything we can do that explains how to operate a food business, because that doesn’t exist.”


Joe Schuck

Findlay Kitchen Facilities Manager

Joe Schuck is the Findlay Kitchen Facility Manager and has been with the Corporation for Findlay Market for just over a year. He works directly with new Members to familiarize them with the space, the many facilities and the two-way expectations of Membership. Findlay Kitchen is a patchwork quilt of kitchen equipment, storage, refrigerators, and tons of different people, each with a unique business idea. The variety is what makes the community so special, and Joe understands that getting to know each Member on a personal level is imperative to being a part of this community.

“Relationship-building is kind of the basis of all our jobs here. It’s intertwined into everything that we do.”


Cat Murrell

Findlay Kitchen Program Coordinator

Cat Murrell is the Program Coordinator at Findlay Kitchen and has been with the Corporation for Findlay Market since August 2023. She has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry working in a number of roles, from bartender and server to general manager and assistant managing partner. Her well-rounded work experience in the field has equipped her with the skills and knowledge to connect with Findlay Kitchen Members and offer support and guidance as they grow their businesses into their next phase.

“These people are in here working their butts off–blood, sweat, and tears–and I think it’s amazing. My goal is to make sure everyone knows about Findlay Kitchen.”


Todd Christensen

Findlay Kitchen Facility Coordinator

Todd has been with the Corporation for Findlay Market for six years. He started as a maintenance associate for the main market house before moving to Findlay Kitchen. For the past three years he has been the Facility Coordinator at Findlay Kitchen, and is responsible for mechanical and janitorial upkeep of the space. He finds his work rewarding and has built strong relationships with market vendors during his tenure.
