About
Deme Kitchen first opened on Main street at Downtown Cincinnati in 2021. it was owned by Anna Choi and her husband, Kemmy Dam. They serve a variety of iconic Asian dishes including Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup, Vietnamese Pho, Thai Curry Clay Pot, Korean Topokki, General Tso Chicken, and the like.
In 2022, after Anna's husband Kemmy suddenly passed, she quit her full-time job as an accountant to transition into operating the restaurant on her own. She became the head chef of Deme Kitchen, creating new dishes that quickly gained popularity and led to increased sales at the restaurant.
Because of an incident with Duke Energy, Deme Kitchen was forced to suddenly closed their business in 2024, but that didn't stop Anna's passion for cooking. While she searched for a new home for Deme Kitchen, she joined Findlay Kitchen and has temporarily transitioned her business into a catering company so she can still serve the food she’s passionate about to her loyal customers.
