Associate Director, Findlay Kitchen

Kelly Shaw is the Associate Director of Findlay Kitchen. She has 15 years of hospitality experience in various roles ranging from line cook to kitchen manager and most everything in between. Kelly also has extensive customer service and administrative management experience, allowing her to support Findlay Kitchen members and lead the incubator kitchen into its next phase of growth.

Scott Edsall

Findlay Kitchen Incubator Manager

Scott Edsall has been with the Corporation for Findlay Market for three years, most recently as the Findlay Market Incubator Manager. During his tenure he has worked on the buildout of the Findlay Launch storefronts and incubated multiple businesses out of the Findlay Kitchen, most notably Soul Secrets and The Empanada’s Box. Scott also led the restoration of a 1970s deck oven, allowing new bakeries to start in the Kitchen. Scott has over 20 years of experience starting and operating food services in Cincinnati, Nashville and Illinois, with a focus on efficient operations for food businesses

“Within one-on-one business mentoring, our goal is to lower the barrier of entry for businesses to start and thrive. We are trying to figure out programs, manuals–anything we can do that explains how to operate a food business, because that doesn’t exist.”


Cat Murrell

Findlay Kitchen Program Coordinator

Cat Murrell is the Program Coordinator at Findlay Kitchen and has been with the Corporation for Findlay Market since August 2023. She has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry working in a number of roles, from bartender and server to general manager and assistant managing partner. Her well-rounded work experience in the field has equipped her with the skills and knowledge to connect with Findlay Kitchen Members and offer support and guidance as they grow their businesses into their next phase.

“These people are in here working their butts off–blood, sweat, and tears–and I think it’s amazing. My goal is to make sure everyone knows about Findlay Kitchen.”


Todd Christensen

Findlay Kitchen Facility Coordinator

Todd has been with the Corporation for Findlay Market for six years. He started as a maintenance associate for the main market house before moving to Findlay Kitchen. For the past three years he has been the Facility Coordinator at Findlay Kitchen, and is responsible for mechanical and janitorial upkeep of the space. He finds his work rewarding and has built strong relationships with market vendors during his tenure.

“Our focus at Findlay Kitchen is on BIPOC businesses, and seeing the impact the services we offer have on our members makes everything I do on a day-to-day basis so meaningful.”


Andi Tulipana

Entrepreneurship Program Manager

Andi provides organization and accountability to the small, but mighty team at Findlay Kitchen. With 50+ businesses operating from the facility, Findlay Kitchen can be a very distracting place! Andi helps the team identify their goals and plan to execute them while keeping time management at top of mind along the way. This management and oversight has allowed the Food Innovation team to take on additional projects, and accomplish their work in a more efficient manner. Her work will continue to amplify the reach not only of Findlay Kitchen, but every business who operates from it.


Omar Canady

Findlay Kitchen Maintenance Associate

Omar works with the Findlay Kitchen team and members to ensure cleanliness and sanitation is held to the highest standard in the facility at all times. Omar's hard work has a direct relationship to the success, quality and efficiency for each business in the kitchen. His down-to-business attitude and infectious smile has warmed the hearts of all of the Members. If Omar isn't actively working on a project or deep cleaning, you can usually find him with his arms full of food gifts from our members!
